Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is made up of high-profile HKAC members who take up their roles voluntarily. The Board will be made up of diverse individuals with a balanced mix of culture, language, experience, and so forth, but the most important quality is their commitment to making Hong Kong a better place.

Jeffrey Lam
Founder and Director

Jeffrey Lam is Managing Director of Forward Winsome Industries, Vice Chairman of the Business and Professionals Alliance for Hong Kong. He is also a member of the General Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. He also serves as a member of the Legislative Council. He was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2011.

Patrick Tsang
Founder and Chairman

Patrick Tsang is the Chairman of Tsangs Group. He is a seasoned investor and has worked on numerous IPO and M&A transactions. He is also a qualified solicitor in England, Wales and Hong Kong. Patrick is active in various charity and business associations. Furthermore, He was a Fellow of The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award World Fellowship and was awarded the China Economic Person of the Year during the China Economic Forum in 2014.

Kelvin Liu
Director

Kelvin worked in the investment banking and asset management arena for over 15 years. His experience covers cross border M&A, debt and equity structuring, private equity and venture capital investment. Kelvin is a CPA in the US and he earned dual degrees in accounting and computer science and an Executive Management Program from Columbia University in the US.

Andre Kwok

Andre Kwok is the Founder and Chairman of the Good City Foundation. The foundation has been dedicated to domains such as public private partnership, urban innovation and impact investing through initiatives such as “Future City Summit”, public policy research projects and development programs in emerging countries. Andre is currently a Fellow of the World Economic Forum; he is also listed in Tatler Asia’s Gen.T List 2022 and the Forbes China 30 Under 30 as Social Entrepreneur.

Advisory Board

Prof. Sir Chris Evans OBE is a highly successful and internationally renowned scientific entrepreneur. He has launched, financed and built more than 40 life sciences companies from their inception and now valued in excess of $7 billion. Twenty of these companies were listed on six separate stock exchanges around the world during a career spanning 35 years. Sir Chris has returned $billions in cash to investors. 

Jim Mellon is the Chairman and Co-Founder of Juvenescence. He is also the Executive Chairman of Manx Financial Group, Non-Executive Chairman of Endurance RP Limited and the Chairman of the Burnbrae Group. He is a former fund manager at the Griffin Thornton Hong Kong. Furthermore, he has over 20 years’ investment experience in numerous industries in Asia. He is also an author of the book, Juvenescence.

Steven Lam is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of GogoX Holdings Limited. Started in 2013. GogoX has revolutionised the traditional logistics industry by connecting customers and businesses to van drivers swiftly and effortlessly. GogoX currently operates in 340 cities with a 4.5 million registered drivers across the Asia.

Maurice Lee is the partner of Maurice W M Lee Solicitors in Hong Kong. He is an honour awardee of BBS, Justice of the Peace and Arbitrators in Hong Kong. Formerly, he served several Government Committees as Chairman or a member and he is now the Advisor of the Our Hong Kong Foundation and member of the Advocacy Committee of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF.

Tom Hudson is a lawyer by profession, based in the UAE, advising companies that want to bridge East and West. Tom has a great affection for Hong Kong, and is the Great-Grandson of a previous Governor, Sir Mark Young. He is a specialist in tech investment and legal & government affairs for the Middle East and a regular commentator for the likes of CNBC and CNN on the regional tech ecosystem.
